Frequently asked questions
What is MonitoraRE?
A service that regularly checks websites, APIs, servers, certificates and domains and alerts you as soon as something breaks. It also handles incidents, on-call rotations and a public status page for your customers.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Checks run from our nodes towards your services. For scheduled jobs you just add an HTTP call to the script (heartbeat).
How often are checks run?
Every 5 minutes on Free, every minute on Pro and every 30 seconds on Business. Domain expiry and blacklists are checked less often, as they change slowly.
How do you avoid false alarms?
An outage is confirmed only after several consecutive failed checks and, if you enable it, only when multiple regions see it. Unstable services trigger a single alert instead of a flood.
What if MonitoraRE itself has a problem?
Check nodes are autonomous: they keep working and storing results even if the central platform is unreachable, then sync everything without losses.
Can I use it for my clients’ services?
Yes: organise monitors with tags, invite your team with different roles and publish status pages with your client’s domain and logo.
